Since 1997 Cecily Jackson-Zapata has provided strategic legal representation to new and existing nonprofit organizations and social enterprises, as well as existing and new businesses. A graduate of Stanford Law School, Cecily Jackson-Zapata began her legal career in the Tax Departments at Latham & Watkins and Miller & Chevalier, and built her nonprofit legal service expertise at Public Counsel. Cecily Jackson-Zapata presently serves as Chair of the Social Enterprise Alliance Los Angeles Chapter, is a Member of the Union Bank Community Advisory Board, and is a Board Member of Phase One – The Road to Curing Cancer.
Attorney Becki Ueno has worked at top environmental organizations including the Sierra Club and Environment California and currently sits on the board of the Los Angeles Sustainable Business Council and the Mahasukha Center, a Yoga and Buddhist Studies Organization.
